WRI Surveys River Water Quality for Carrying Capacity Assessment in Hai Phong
In December 2021, the Water Resources Institute conducted river water quality surveys at river sources in Hai Phong city.
The survey aimed to collect data on water quality indicators, assess pollution status, and determine the carrying capacity - the ability of river water sources to receive wastewater and pollutants in the city.
Survey results serve as the basis for:
- Assessing the carrying capacity of each river section
- Proposing discharge limits for each zone
- Developing appropriate management and discharge control plans
- Protecting water quality for domestic and industrial water supply
