Assessing the Impact of Wastewater Discharge from Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant
The Water Resources Institute assessed the impact of wastewater discharge from Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant (Binh Thuan province) on the surrounding marine area.
The study used hydraulic and diffusion models to simulate wastewater propagation in the marine environment, evaluating impacts on water quality and marine ecosystems.
The research results showed the extent of thermal and industrial wastewater impacts on marine water quality parameters in the surrounding area. Based on these findings, the research team proposed solutions to minimize environmental impacts from the power plant's discharge activities.
