Grassroots Council Acceptance of Ministry-level S&T Research Project TNMT.2023.06.16
On the afternoon of November 11, 2024, the Water Resources Institute organized a grassroots council to evaluate the results of the research project "Application of Machine Learning Technology for Streamflow Forecasting to Support Efficient Reservoir System Operation in the Ca River Basin," code TNMT.2023.06.16.
Chairing the Council, Dr. Nguyen Anh Duc, Deputy Director of WRI, emphasized the project's achievements.
MSc. Luu Thi Hong Linh, the project leader, presented a summary report on implementation and scientific products:
- Published 3 papers in reputable specialized scientific journals
- Supported training of 1 Master's student
- Developed machine learning-based streamflow forecasting technology for the Ca River Basin
- Developed large reservoir system operation technology for the Ca River Basin
- Technical operation procedures and user guidelines
The research results contributed to enhancing the capacity of participating researchers.
Dr. Nguyen Anh Duc requested the team to incorporate council members' feedback and continue refining reports for the Ministry-level acceptance council.
